Simple Routine to keep your apartment clean!

Keep Your Apartment Clean With This Simple Routine

Cleaning can be calming and joyful for some people, who look forward to it daily. If maintaining a clean home is the last thing on your mind, but you still want to live in a tidy area, you're in luck.

Property management service Branson Mo suggests following these helpful tips that you can use to keep your apartment clean in just a few minutes a day—giving you plenty of time to do other things you enjoy more.

Make your bed every morning.

A nice bed improves and neatens the entire space. Even if you have a few things out of place, the room will look much better if the bed is made. Making your bed each morning only requires a few minutes. You won't miss the time once you are in the habit of doing it.

Making your bed each morning also serves as motivation. If you make your bed when you get up, you've already accomplished one task for the day. It gives you the motivation to finish other chores as well.

Use an empty box or basket to gather up clutter.

Put anything in your basket that doesn't belong in that room. When you have to walk back and forth to put things away, tidying up a room takes much longer. Simply pick up everything in the room that doesn't belong there and place it in a box or basket, advises property management service Branson MO.

Afterward, take the basket and leave the items in the appropriate rooms. These baskets are handy in areas many share, such as your living room, dining room, or den.

Gathering the materials during the day shouldn't take more than a minute so you can distribute them later. For example, if you're in the living room and want to return to your bedroom, look around first, grab anything that belongs there, and take it with you.

Spray the tub or shower after every use.

Your shower or bath's steam and hot water help to remove dirt. Cleaning your bathtub or shower right away after use is much simpler. Additionally, by doing this, any filth or soap scum is prevented from accumulating. Hence, you never have to bother about scrubbing.

You'll remember to give your shower or tub a short spray when you get out if you leave the cleaning solution bottle sitting in or next to it. When you hang up your towel after you've dried, you may wipe clean the shower or tub.

Close down the kitchen every night.

Approach it as if you were closing down a restaurant's kitchen. Make it a point never to leave the kitchen unclean before bed. Take care of the dishes, sanitize and clean all the handles and surfaces, and sweep up any spills. It shouldn't take more than 10 minutes to complete the process.

If you live with roommates with varied schedules, assign the kitchen closing tasks to the one who used it last. It shouldn't be a big concern as long as everyone is tidying up their messes. If you have a dishwasher, start at night (if it's full); when you get up in the morning, you can unload it while preparing breakfast or heating coffee.

Dust thoroughly in each room once a week.

Dust a room thoroughly by moving from left to right and top to bottom. By employing this technique, any dust or debris swept off won't land on an area previously cleaned.

The dust that might accumulate in more difficult-to-reach areas is removed by this more thorough dusting. For instance, you might dust your bedroom on Monday, your living room on Tuesday, and your kitchen on Wednesday.

This chore is as much for your health as it is for cleanliness because accumulated dust can impact the air quality in your home and make breathing more difficult.

Clean your toilet as part of your bedtime routine.

While you brush your teeth, squirt the toilet bowl, clean into the bowl and let it sit. Give the toilet a short scrub and flush after brushing your teeth, washing your face, and doing whatever else you do at night to get ready for bed. You don't need anything else to keep the toilet bowl clean.

Clean the floors once a week.

You should sweep or vacuum one room per day. It's a good idea to dust and clean the floor on the same day, so set aside a room (or two, depending on the size of your home) for each day of the week. The floor in that room can then be cleaned on the same day each week. Vacuum or mop from the back corner of the room toward the entryway. You will have finished cleaning the room by the time you leave.
