Move Out Procedures

Cleaning List

Replace all light bulbs that are burned out with same type (flood, vanity, regular etc.) Replace drip pans in stovetop that are non-cleanable

Kitchen

  1. Pull all appliances out and clean in and around them
  2. Clean range/oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher (inside and out),
  3. Wipe down all cabinets (inside and out) and drawers & counters
  4. Mop all floors and wipe down baseboards
  5. Wipe walls down and blinds
  6. Clean Laundry room and central heat area
  7. Pull washer & dryer and clean in and behind them (don't forget lint trap)

Bathrooms

  1. Clean and sanitize all toilets including where seat attaches with plastic bolts, *tubs, sinks, clean all mirrors; counter tops, vanity light fixtures and inside of cabinets and drawers along with drawer fronts and doors
  2. Bedrooms
  3. Remove and clean all light fixtures
  4. Clean all ceiling fans
  5. Dust all furniture
  6. Clean sliding glass door, tracks, and inside of all windows
  7. Clean doors, doorframes, windowsills, and window frames, baseboard
  8. Vacuum all carpet

Living Room/Dining Room

  1. Remove and clean all light fixtures
  2. Clean all ceiling fans
  3. Dust all furniture
  4. Clean Sliding glass door, tracks, and inside of all windows
  5. Clean doors, doorframes, windowsills, and window frames, baseboard
  6. Vacuum all carpet

Other

  1. Clean patio, table, chairs, and storage
  2. Don't forget closets and foyer (entrance area)

*Tubs must be disinfected. A good product to use to clean solid surfaces (tubs & sinks) is Extra Strength CSP Cleaning. If the tub is a jet tub, bleach water must be run through jets.
