Many visitors who come to Branson decide they want to stay and experience living in a  Branson apartment, near tourist hot- spots and many exciting attractions. If, by any chance, you happen to rent a small apartment that doesn’t have a closet, don’t worry. Here are some organizing tips that you can test out, to enjoy a more comfortable living in your Branson apartment.

Buy An Armoire or Dresser

Setting up a dresser in your room is an obvious and simple solution to your problem of not having a closet. You can find these in a thrift store, a resale shop, or a big box store. Look for the right piece that will fit your space and your taste. Having a dresser or an armoire will help keep your clothes hidden and out of the way.

Make or Buy A Clothes Rack

As you settle into your new Branson apartment without a closet, make your life more comfortable by setting up a clothes rack. Whether you’ve made it yourself or you’ve bought it in a thrift store, clothes racks are a great asset to a small room without a closet.

After you have set up your clothes rack, you can create more space by adding a shelf on the bottom. This is a great way to display your shoes and give them a place at the same time. You can also go all out and add multiple hanging levels. Depending on what works for you and what you need, you can think of other options to incorporate into your clothes rack, such as a shelf on top for hats or adding hooks to hang your necklaces and bracelets.

Purge Your Possessions

This tip to  organize your room without a closet is probably the hardest for most people. Even if you got rid of items before the move, reevaluating your clothing and possessions may be beneficial as you unpack. Getting rid of your smaller décor, knick knacks and those clothes you never actually wear, will help free up valuable space in your Branson apartment. – too much of anything will end up cluttering your apartment bedroom.

Buy a Closet

If the new Branson apartment you have rented has no closet, bring your own. Look for a free-standing wardrobe or clothing rack that’s both stylish and durable. A cabinet with a hanging rack and shelving is perfect for a small room since it can hold any of your personal belongings.

Rotate Seasonal Clothes

You won’t need your sweaters and jackets during the summer season, so keep them in plastic and store them in an empty cabinet, tote or under your bed. Store your shorts, tanks, sandals, and sunglasses in the front of your closet space and drawers that you can easily get if you’re hurrying to go outdoors. When the cold chill sets in, swap out those clothes for your jeans, sweaters, boots, and jackets. Layer your clothes for any season, like teens and cardigans, that need to be accessed easily year-round. Hide the out-of-season items to storage like under the bed to minimize the clutter.

Use Open Space In Any of the Furniture

To make the most of your Branson apartment without a closet:

1.       Use multi-functional furniture that can double as hidden storage.

2.       Loft your bed so you can create space for storage underneath it or buy a bed frame with  built-in drawers.

3.       If you want to place an ottoman in your room for extra seating, look for one that doubles as a trunk.

These Furniture pieces are great places to keep things you don’t often need, like out-of-season clothes or bed linens. Utilizing drawers and shelves can help maximize your storage space while maintaining your room’s aesthetic.

Now that you know these helpful tips to help organize things in your Branson apartment without a closet, you can live a little more comfortably in it.
